Aim & Scope

CINA is an Italian language journal published since 1956 by IsMEO (Istituto Italiano per il Medio ed Estremo Oriente [Italian Institute for Middle and Far East]) and now by the IsIAO (Istituto Italiano per l’Africa e l’Oriente [Italian Institute for Africa and the Orient]). Cina was founded by Giuseppe Tucci and edited by Lionello Lanciotti, who is still the editorship. It is dedicated to the comprehension and study of the thinking, art, science, and organization in China at the present time, without however neglecting the tradition of the past, which has been reappraised in the light of contemporary criticism. ^[1]
